Satiating Smoothie!

It's 6.16am. The alarm rings. Yikes, another day has begun!

Shower. Dress. Eat.... WHAT to eat? I need nutritious, and easy-to-make satisfaction!

Here you go.

This was recipe was created for you. This meal in a blender will see you through. Keep the seeds, nuts, and oats stored in the fridge for freshness. Frozen berries, fresh greens, and almond milk are staples so have them handy!

Now you're ready to roll!

Nutrition for breakfast or anytime. Plenty of protein from the oats, hemp seed, and flax seed!
Recipe type: Breakfast
Cuisine: Canadian
Serves: 1 serving

  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1 to 2 tbsp organic, tahini or almond butter
  • ½ cup organic oats
  • 2 tbsp hemp heart seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground organic flax seed
  • ½ cup frozen wild organic blueberries
  • ½ banana
  • large handful of mixed greens
  • 2 to 3 ice cubes

  1. In the order listed, place all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend well for 2 minutes.
  3. Enjoy!

NOTE: You'll likely notice a container of "something yellow" in the picture that I did not include in the recipe. BEE POLLEN. If you're allergic to bees please do NOT EVER CONSUME. If not and you wish to experiment, you may want to add this extra nutrition to your smoothie. I cannot say this strongly enough that you must watch how you react to the pollen (even if you're not allergic to bees). One to two granules at first. But this is may turn into another blog to come.... so leave it out if you're unsure. Please!
