Five simple ingredients make for a delicious spread especially when used as the base for hot sandwiches. I purchased both EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) and balsamic vinegar from Evoolution. If you can't find honey ginger white balsamic vinegar, then consider using apple cider vinegar.
(Missing from picture below is maple syrup. Time to make another batch so I can include maple syrup in a picture!)
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp EVOO
- ¾ tsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp raw honey
- 1 tsp honey ginger white balsamic vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- Blend well. Makes a terrific sandwich base for approximately 4 to 5 large slices of bread (or more for smaller pieces). You may find it a bit "runny" but it makes for a very easy spread. Enjoy!
